Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. ... Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me. Then the God of peace will be with you. |

PRAYER FOR ASKING GRACES THROUGH THE INTERCESSION OF THE SERVANT OF GOD THE POPE JOHN PAUL II |
| © Libreria Editrice Vaticana |
O Blessed Trinity
We thank You for having graced the Church
with Pope John Paul II
and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care,
the glory of the cross of Christ,
and the splendor of the Holy Spirit,
to shine through him.
Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy
and in the maternal intercession of Mary,
he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd,
and has shown us that holiness
is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life
and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you.
Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will,
the graces we implore,
hoping that he will soon be numbered
among your saints.
Amen. |

CONSECRATION PRAYER TO OUR LADY OF THE SOUTHERN CROSS, HELP OF CHRISTIANS |
|
"You will receive power when the Holy spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses." (Acts 1:8) |
Mary, you are the Mother of Jesus, our Lord, Your presence in the upper room inspired the first disciples to trust completely in the promise of the Risen Christ:
I now consecrate myself to you under the title of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, Help of Christians, so that I might be a witness to your Son Jesus in the power of His Spirit.
Mary, teach me to be attentive to the coice of God in silence and to live a life of service in truth, joy and peace.
Amen.
